790 Style

 The 790 style of Three Cone Rock bits is designed for a multitude of drilling applications including: Water Well production (WW), Construction (C), Geotech (GR), Environmental (E), and a variety of other industrial uses.
The 790 style of Three Cone Rock bits has Center Fluid circulation. The drilling fluid is delivered to the bottom of the drill hole through the center of the bit body and also cools the bearing structure, as shown in the picture. These bits are designed to withstand both radial and axial loading. Radial loads are carried by the Open Bearing structure(see details on page Bearing structures): Friction Ball Friction, Ball Roller, Roller Ball Friction, Roller Ball Friction Roller, Roller Ball Friction Roller Friction. The axial load is distributed over the hard surfaced load areas of the Journal. Rollers and Balls are made of vacuum-arc and electro-slag re-melted steel. The cutting structures of the 790 style of Three Cone Rock bits may have either milled steel teeth, or tungsten carbide inserts.
