The 793 style of Three Cone Rock bits has Fluid Jet circulation. Drilling fluid is delivered to the bottom of the drill hole through Jet Nozzles which are located between the bit legs and also cools the bearing structure, as shown in the picture. Interchangeable Nozzles are available in standard sizes from " to ".

These bits are designed to withstand both radial and axial loading. Radial loads are carried by the Open Bearing structure(see details on page Bearing structures): Roller Ball Friction Roller or Roller Ball Friction Roller Friction. The axial load is distributed over the hard surfaced load areas of the Journal. Rollers and Balls are made of vacuum-arc and electro-slag re-melted steel.

The cutting structures of the 793 style of Three Cone Rock bits may have either milled steel teeth, or tungsten carbide inserts. 

The 793 style of Three Cone Rock bits are available in sizes starting from 6" (152.4mm) to 9" (250.8mm).
